Carnelian – A variety of the quartz mineral, the carnelian stone is a brownish to orange-red gemstone commonly found in Brazil, Germany, India, Madagascar, Siberia, and Uruguay. Carnelian is believed to give courage in battle, increase confidence, and infuse its wearer with a determined mindset… and sexual energy. Carnelian derives its name from the Latin word for flesh.
